We were at a New Years Dance. Jared and I were in the middle of the floor with alot of other people. The new year rang in and we kissed. Jared took my hand and I walked with him toward a door opposite the door we came in. I thought maybe he wants to go for a walk or the long way around to the car. All the sudden he stopped and got down on his knee. Yes he proposed. I think I was in shock. My friend walked over and started crying.
It has been 9 years since Jared asked me to marry him that wonderful night.
2009
The celebration wasn't as big. We stayed home with our three kids tucked in bed and I woke up about 10 mins. before the new year rang in our area. But I did get my kiss.
