The Start of the Harvest and School

We have about 10 bottles of spaghetti sauce, 29 bags of corn in the freezer, and 3 pint and 2 half pints of corn cob syrup. We are planning on canning more spaghetti sauce, salsa and sweet and sour tomorrow.

The kids will be starting school this week they are jealous that Grandma, Aunt Haley and many cousins get to start school before they do.  RyAnn is in 4th grade and gets to go to the new 3 through 5 grade elementary school (the old 6 and 7  grade school). Issac is going to be in 2nd grade.  Morriah is going to be in AM kindergarten. She is also going to be in the language immersion program that starts this year at our elementary school. She is going to learn Spanish. Elizza gets to spend her day with Mom going to exercise, get kids after kindergarten, and learn more vocabulary.  Mom is excited to get on a schedule before she starts taking classes online in two weeks.

  1. Hey big sis! I've been thinking about you a lot lately. Looks like you guys are keeping busy getting ready for school and with the garden/canning. I'm super jealous. Where'd you get all the tomatoes and corn? Was it from your garden? You should post some pics when you get a chance. I miss you and the kids. LYWB!
